Welcome to my practice. I am dedicated to providing a safe and compassionate space for individuals seeking support and growth. As a therapist, my goal is to empower my clients to overcome challenges, heal from past wounds, and create meaningful change in their lives. With a client-centered approach, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma or navigating life transitions, I am here to offer guidance and support every step of the way. Together, we will explore your inner strengths and develop strategies that foster resilience and well-being. Taking the first step towards therapy can be daunting, but know that you don't have to face it alone – I am here to walk this journey with you.
My psychotherapy practice philosophy is rooted in the belief that each individual possesses unique strengths and capabilities for personal growth. I view therapy as a collaborative journey where I work alongside you to explore your experiences, emotions, and thoughts. My approach emphasizes creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself and feel heard. I strive to cultivate a strong therapeutic alliance built on empathy, trust, and respect for each client's autonomy. Guided by evidence-informed practices and drawing from various theoretical perspectives, my goal is to assist you with unlocking your inner potential toward healing and personal growth.
Now a little bit about my education and professional experience.
I received both my Master (2003 ) and Doctorate of Social Work (2018) degrees from Tulane University. I have provided clinical services for over 19 years, mostly in non-profit health care, splitting my time between clinical administration and Psychotherapy. Additionally, I am an adjunct faculty member for Tulane University School of Social Work where I teach graduate level courses.
If you are ready to make a commitment to your healing and personal growth, I invite you to reach out and allow me the opportunity to assist you in this journey.
